Chatsworth American Legion, post 167, Ladies Auxiliary, and Sons of the Legion, hold their regular meetings at 7:30 PM on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, at the Legion hall, dinner is served.

American Legion Ladies Auxiliary post 167, meets at 2:30PM for bingo on the second Saturday of each month at the Chatsworth Health Care Center.

American Legion Riders Post 167 holds their regular meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month at the Legion Hall.

ABATE of Georgia District 1, meets at Do-Dah's Grill on the 1st Tuesday of each Month. All Motorcycle enthusiasts / Riders are invited to attend.

Memorial Day Ceremonies were held on the Courthouse lawn in Chatsworth Monday May 26, 2008. There was a great turnout for this solemn event. A cook-out was provided by the post after the event, with good attendance. Thanks to the attendees, gests!

April 8, 2008, Officer nominations for the Legion's 2008-2009 year were held in the regular monthly meeting. Click on the "2009 ELECTIONS" tab to see a listing of the winners. Induction ceremonies were held during the regular June 10th meeting at the post.
The Eton "Cruise In" as well as the Dalton Car Collectors events, begin April 12, 2008, both being held on the 2nd Saturday of each month thru October.
The Cruise In is held at the old Eton Elementary School, and the car show is in downtown Dalton. The final "Cruise In" will be held on October 11th 2008.
